What do you do to activate your students’ curiosity?

In the Activate phase, learning starts by connecting, not explaining. We tap into what students already know, think or wonder about. It could be a poll, a short video or an open question.

For example:

Before a lesson on sustainability, we ask: “What does it mean to live sustainably?”

Students answer in Learnlab, and the responses set the stage for deeper learning.

This phase lights a spark and makes students want to explore.
